We began raising Limousin cattle in north Texas in 1973. When we moved to Vernon County, Wisconsin, in 1999, we brought the very best of our herd with us.

Today, our farm is becoming a model for conservation farming. Working with the Hillsboro Priority Watershed Project, we are preserving the integrity and purity of our natural springs and of Beaver Creek, which flows through the farm. Our land is enrolled in a Complete Nutrient Management Program and is a Registry Land with Mississippi Valley Conservancy. We practice crop rotation and other conservation techniques to minimize soil loss, and we encourage wildlife and plant cover for wild turkey, deer, and stocked pheasants.

Our animals spend their entire lives on our farm and are well cared for. All of their food is grown on our farm--pasture grass in summer and hay and corn silage in winter. We don't grow GMO crops, use hormones or growth stimulants, or feed antibiotics. And our animals never consume any animal by-products. We believe it is important for you to know where your beef comes from, and we welcome you to visit our farm.
